This book, co-authored by Professors Lara & Stephen Sheehi, centers the work of Palestinian clinicians to embrace the full subjectivity of Palestinian people who refuse to be solely defined by the occupation and the ongoing genocide. At the same time, the book explains how the occupation has infiltrated the mental health system in Israel/Palestine as well as compromised the mental health of an entire population.
The six-session groups above are available. There are no fees for the group, however, donations to USA Palestine Mental Health Network Make a Donation – USA Palestine Mental Health Network (usapalmhn.org) are welcomed so that we might continue our education and advocacy activism.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Cheryl Qamar qamar@usapalmhn.org and Christine Schmidt schmidt@usapalmhn.org and indicate which cycle you’d like to join. They will send more detailed information, including zoom links, to participants in the group.
