Community Gathering

Today I write in thanks once again: We have received over 400 donations from individuals, families, and organizations toward our campaign in support of our programs for Palestinian refugees. We are more than halfway to our main goal.

I also write with an invitation. I hope you will join me and other team members at 1for3 to thank you personally for supporting our work during the campaign. We will gather on Saturday May 4 from 11 AM-1 PM at Termeer Square (605 W Kendall St. Cambridge).

In addition to expressing our appreciation, another reason for this gathering is to be together in solidarity and community during this difficult time in Palestine. Please bring your children as we hope it will be a warm, community event. Finally, on this day I will enjoy seeing you before my trip to Palestine on May 6, when I’ll be visiting our partners and checking out the amazing work they are doing with communities. I will also be meeting with new partners. I look very much forward to reporting back to you all.

Aceituna Grill, one of our sponsors since the beginning, will be open if you'd like to grab a meal  as we join together. Or you can bring food since we will be outside. (If we need to move the event inside Aceituna, food will not be able to be brought in.)
