As people across Palestine celebrate the announcement of a ceasefire, join us in community for tea, activities, prayer, and stories from our homeland to commemorate the day where hundreds of political prisoners will be released, the constant bombardment on Gaza will cease, and the thousands displaced will begin their journey to return to their rightful homes. We will reflect on the past year of action and resistance, honor the steadfastness of our people, pray for our martyrs, and reaffirm our commitment to Gaza.

After 15 months of genocide, the resilience of Gaza’s people has shown the world that their spirit cannot be broken. With the ceasefire that goes into effect on Sunday, we are reminded that this is but one step in the long road to liberation, return, and rebuilding. The fight for the liberation of Palestine continues: the siege on Gaza will be lifted and the Zionist and imperialist war criminals will be held accountable.
