New Year: Same Revolution - A Town Hall & Fundraiser for Gaza

PHILLY: Join Writers Against the War on Gaza (WAWOG) at the Calvary Center on Tuesday, January 21st from 6:30-9:00pm for an evening of discussion, community, and support for Gaza.

Our program will feature readings, presentations and a panel on prison breaks and fighting imperialism, followed by an open discussion around internal and external decolonization. Where do the local and the international intersect? What does it mean to build a mass movement in the imperial core? How do we weave webs of solidarity strong enough to withstand the forces of reaction, from democratic fascism and state repression to our own fears and desires for safety? We invite you to come with these questions in mind and connect with comrades to continue building our movement in Philadelphia

100% of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Dahnoun Mutual Aid, a group of volunteer organizers working to provide life-sustaining aid to Palestinians in Gaza. Tickets are by donation. Suggested $25 but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. A raffle will be held at the event to raise additional funds for mutual aid.
