About the Film

About Filmmaker
Ezzaldeen Shalh has held various leadership positions in the film industry. Notably, she is the Founder and President of the Jerusalem International Film Festival, preparing for its 9th edition in November 2025. The festival's website is (link unavailable). Additionally, she is the Founder and President of the Gaza's International Festival For Women's Cinema, scheduled for October 26-31, 2025.

He also co-founded and serves as President of the International Union of Arab Cinema Festivals, comprising 25 festivals from 14 countries. Her expertise extends to heading International Centers in the Middle East, where he has directed the Palestine Center. Furthermore, he was the Executive Director of the first International Film Festival planned for Gaza.

His cinematic work includes "Exception" (2025), a film about genocide in Gaza and resilience in the face of death. Another project is "Love and Bread," a feature screenplay based on Asia Abdel Hadi's novel (2019-2021). He directed a documentary about Gaza University (2011) and earlier projects include "The Other World" (1999) and "The Dry Spring" (1997).
